In the Church
A great way to get connected at GatheringPoint is by joining a service team. Your involvement makes a huge difference in the lives of those who attend our church. The links below describe many of the service opportunities available to serve. Please look around and then click on the area that interests you.
Each Sunday, a large team of volunteers welcome parents and kids to our Waumba Land (Birth-PreK) and GatheringPoint Kids (K-4th) environments. In these environments, parents find a team of people who seek to partner with them as they raise their kids. And, kids are invited into God’s Big story as they learn that God loves them and wants to work IN them to impact the world around them. There are many ways you can get involved to help us create these great environments.
Because we want every student to be known, valued and cared for, our goal is to build a team of high quality small group leaders who invest in the lives of students. Each week we gather together in environments that create opportunities for lasting relationships, invites questions to be asked and open dialogue. Our leaders provide space for students to slow down the busyness of life and connect with one another. Opportunities to serve happen on Wednesday evenings for Mid-High and Sunday evenings for Sr. High.
Our mission is to help lead people into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ by creating a high-quality experience for our guests, whether they’re first-time visitors or regular attendees. That’s because every aspect of our environments communicates something to our guests: parking lots, faces of volunteers, décor, and the flow of crowds. We want every element of the environment to make people feel welcome and to maximize their opportunities to connect with God.
