GatheringPoint Middle School Ministry is a Wednesday night gathering designed to be a warm environment for students to gather and find a sense of belonging. We aim for all students to be known, loved, and cared for. Assisted by a dynamic team of adults and small group leaders eager to build relationships with them, students explore how to take their next steps of faith.

Serving Opportunities

Welcome/Check-In Team

Every Wednesday night begins in the parking lot, with excited students being dropped off for the night ahead. Our welcome and check-in team greets each student with warmth and hospitality, while checking them into our database. This can be a weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly commitment.

Small Group Leader

Small Group Leaders invest in the lives of middle school students to help them grow in their relationship with Jesus and others. Middle School years are tough, and the time you’ll take to provide a listening ear and encouragement can make them easier. This role is a weekly commitment.

Media Team

If you know your way around a mouse and keyboard, and can handle music that might be a little too loud, then this is the spot for you. Our Media Team helps to take our programming to the next level by creating engaging environments that bring the weekly message to life. This can be a weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly commitment.

Snack Team

Every Wednesday night, the snack team provides students and small group leaders the opportunity to keep the conversation going around the café tables with a snack. Here, volunteers would work with our snack team coordinator to purchase and prepare a weekly snack, ensuring quality with their own taste test! This can be a weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly commitment.
