Prayer can be awkward sometimes. It can be hard to know what you are supposed to say, when to say it, and how to say it. You may even ask these questions: Why should we pray? What is prayer? Does prayer even make a difference?

Jesus addressed similar questions about prayer from his disciples. The disciples had been watching Jesus pray for a while, and they noticed something different about the way He prayed versus how they learned to pray. By examining Jesus' prayer habits and His responses to the disciples' questions, we will find helpful answers to guide our prayer life.
