Since GatheringPoint was started, we’ve tried to stay committed to a few simple ideas, one of which is that people far from God matter deeply to God. Over the years, this has looked like prioritizing environments where questions are welcome, people can belong before they believe, faith feels approachable yet not shallow, and creating a space where nobody has to pretend.

Over the next few weeks, we will take a step back and review the “Lessons Learned” since our church began. This will be more than a sermon series; it is a reminder about the convictions that shaped our church in the beginning, and the mission we believe still matters today. A reminder about why we do what we do, focusing on why Jesus came and what He wanted His followers to carry on. Because the methods may change, but the mission of Jesus never does.
