"Light is Life" - Sermon

Christmas, for the Christian, is a time to celebrate Jesus coming as the Light of the World (John 1:4). He came to the world and for the world, but the gift of Christmas doesn’t stop there! This light of Jesus is meant to be lived out through us, from generation to generation.
Jesus spoke to His followers and said, “You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead, they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house” (Matthew 5:14-15). This month, we want to embody this invitation to reflect Jesus as we move towards Christmas. It's time to Be a Light.
