The Good Life - Sermon

Lies enslave us, but the truth sets us free! If we believe we cannot be peaceful without a drink, we will become enslaved by liquid. If we believe we can navigate life on our own, we will only pray when we get stuck. If we believe all our money is for our happiness, we will not share any with others. If we believe our kids' achievements determine our value, we will invest everything in them. If we believe our physical beauty defines us, we will give all our money and attention to it.

We could make this list all day. Many ideas dictate how we live, and some of them are lies. What is often hard to determine is what is a lie and what is the truth.
