Choose Humility, Close the Gap - Sermon
Have you ever thought that Easter is great, but life feels like it has just quietly returned to the same stress, the same questions, and regular patterns? You might have even wondered, How is resurrection meant to reshape how you actually live?
That’s exactly why the apostle Paul wrote the letter to the Ephesians. The people in ancient Ephesus believed in Jesus, but they still lived in a world that pulled them back into old identities, unhealthy relationships, and everyday pressures. They were surrounded by voices telling them who they should be, where they belonged, and what should matter in their life. And even though resurrection had already happened, it didn’t always feel like anything had changed.
Paul didn’t write Ephesians to help early Christians escape their world. He wrote it to teach them how to “Dwell” differently within it. This Sunday, we’ll examine this letter from Paul together and discover that dwelling isn’t about doing more, it’s about living differently.
